Refund Policy

1. Booking Amount:

  • The booking amount paid at the time of reservation is non-refundable. This amount is collected to secure your chosen accommodation and ensure its availability.

2. Security Deposit:

  • A security deposit is required at the time of check-in. This deposit is refundable at the end of your stay, subject to the following conditions:
    • No damage to the property or its contents.
    • All dues (rent, utility bills, etc.) are cleared.
    • Keys and access cards are returned.
    • The notice period for vacating the property is adhered to.
    • Any charges for repairs or replacements will be deducted from the security deposit.

3. Rent Refund:

  • Rent paid is non-refundable except under the following circumstances:
    • In case of double payment or technical error during the transaction.
    • If Roomshoom is unable to provide the booked accommodation due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

4. Service Fees:

  • Service fees, if applicable, are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by Tenant:

  • Before Check-In:
    • If you choose to cancel your booking before the check-in date, the booking amount will not be refunded.
  • After Check-In:
    • If you wish to cancel your stay after check-in, a notice period as per the terms of your agreement must be given. Failure to provide the required notice period may result in additional charges.

2. Cancellation by Roomshoom:

  • Roomshoom reserves the right to cancel a booking under special circumstances, such as:
    • Misrepresentation of information by the tenant.
    • Violation of Roomshoom’s policies and terms of service.
    • Unforeseen operational issues.
  • In such cases, a full refund of the booking amount and any rent paid will be processed.

3. Notice Period:

  • Tenants are required to provide a notice period, as specified in their rental agreement, prior to vacating the property. Failure to adhere to the notice period will result in a deduction from the security deposit equivalent to the rent for the notice period.

Process for Refunds

1. Initiation:

2. Verification:

  • Upon receiving a refund request, our team will verify the details and eligibility for a refund.

3. Processing:

  • Approved refund requests will be processed within 14 working days. The refund amount will be credited to the original payment method.

4. Communication:

  • You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.
